Great camcorder for the price,I will admit I was a bit scepital, I thought for the price of your 1080p camcorder the picture quality would be second rate, but I am totally amazed how good the picture is and how light and easy it is to use.
Great product kogan, and I will be recommending this product to all my friend's.

A cracker of a camera for its price range.
Experienced a slight sound problem that turned out to be unfixable but Kogan replaced it without hesitation.
Cannot speak highly enough of this camera.
Go Kogan!
Great camera, especially for the price. The user interface is easy to use and intuitive, my only real complaint is that the east-west zoom switch is quite clumsy to use and causes shake in the picture that north-south toggling zooms don't.
Picture is great, the sound is fine (and if you're picky you can use an external mic). Even as a still camera it's not bad (probably not as good as a purpose built 5 M[ixel camera but it's close).
Kogan - thanks for making this technology more accessible.
The only disapointment is it not having a viewfinder
It is totally uselessoutdoors in the sun when the LCD screen
goes dark in the sunlight and you cant see anything you are pointing at. you cant even see if your recording light is on or off
useless at the clipsal 500
and also the recorded audio is weak... any movie taken must have the audio digitally brought up to 0 db on a computer after
other than these.. it is great and worth the money even when I paid $340 for it years ago
9/10 from me, rounded up to 10/10 for the price. Ideal for the casual user market targeted. Picture quality on 40" hi-qual HD LCD TV is excellent. Only issue is average quality night time picture quality, but an excellent day time picture.
Mine had a slight intermittent fault, but immediate, hassle free replacement with no arguments,
Quality of build: 8/10
Ease of use: 10/10
Support: 10/10
Picture quality - day: 9/10
Picture quality - night: 5/10
Value: 12/10 (much cheaper than most name brand SD cams)
What a great value little camera!
My work colleagues were very impressed with it too.
We work in television & film post production facility and therefore deal with a lot of the top end / professional cameras and tape formats but we thought it was great value for the price.
Disappointments: Slow Zoom, Mic placement, no facility to plug in external mike. Still you can't have it all.
I am having trouble sorting out the editing software.
I can import clips but trying to put more than one in the timeline is eluding me.
HD vision does not relplay smoothly in timeline, do I need a better software package for HD?
Great for the price, fantastic, love it & would recomend to family & friends, but having trouble downloading to my computer. Any suggestions????
This camera may have a $300 price tag but it's a beauty. Unless you're filming a major motion picture, why would you want to pay $1000 for a cam that works this well?
Way better than the price suggests!
For the price where=else would you get a top camera like this. Have recomended and shown it to many of my friends as i'm proud to own such a quality item.
I just got my Kogan Full HD Video camera yesterday and have been giving it a major workout.
I must say for the price this is a bargain. Very impressed with this little camera.
