BUY LCD TV, GPS, BLU-RAY, NETBOOK AND MORE - Kogan Technologies

We recieved this little unit today, and I must say that we are really REALLY happy with the quality. The set up was a piece of cake: we didn't even go 'on line' to look at the manual- it was just too easy. We sat it next to our big LG 42" 1080 set, to use its' power and aerial for the test run. The sound and picture were certainly comparable, and really great value for money. On volume setting 25 (out of 100) we could hear the TV in our big loungeroom, and at 50/100 it was very loud (much louder than we would ever use) and there was no distortion of the sound, at all.
I only have one little grizzle about the set: The power lead has a transformer box thing incorparted into it, which will be abit of a pain to keep tidy and out of sight when it comes time for fitting the set to the wall. We will probably be over come this by 'zip-tying' it to the back somewhere. It would be better if this box ( which is abit smaller than 2 cigarette packets end to end) was situated closer to the end (either) of the power lead, instead of having 2 or 3 feet of feet of lead and cord on each side of it. It's just a heavy item sitting half way along the cord! If you zip tie it close to the set, it will probably mean the power cord will be too short on its' own. It is a very common universal "jug cord" type of cord tho, so I am sure I can get a longer one with no problem. Of course, ( I hear everyone screaming!!) there are always extension cords, (if this option doesn't worry you)! BUT: I just don't like having extension leads and power boards etc stacked or stuffed around my TV's and home entertainment gear. Maybe I am a little obsessive about that type of thing!
That is my only criticism of the unit... however: the picture and sound quality, along with the appearance of the case, control buttons and remote control unit is 1st class.
The DVD player is easy to use, and well placed on the unit. The picture qualityis, again, very good.
I am looking forward to see how it performs when we use it in our camper trailer; we have a big, long trip away in March, so will have to wait til then for that test run!
The communication from Kogan was very timely and helpful. Toll Ipec took 4 days to deliver the parcels, when I thought would only take 3, but, I realise this out of Kogan's control.
We also bought various wall mounts for this and other sets. They were supplied with every conceivable size and length of fitting hardware, such as: nuts, screws, allan keys, wall plugs, washers, spacers etc etc etc. All I needed was one simple phillips head screw driver, and my cordless drill for the wall portion. The brackets are good and heavy and adaptable to all sizes and shapes of TV's. We also bought a 12v lead and plug incvase we don't have power when we camp. My only small complaint with this item is that the 12v lead and plug is abit short for our rig. It might be worth offering them in 2 or 3 lengths??
I hope my review is fair and informative. The bottom line is: the TV quality is very, very good, especially for this price bracket, and we would certainly have them fitted to all our tourist cabins in the caravan park, and be confident the guests will enjoy good quality viewing at a reasonable price.

I have just purchased and installed a 22" (1080P-PRO22) Full HD TV with DVD player. Purchasing and delivery was 1st class, the performance and appearance of the TV is great . Congratulations Kogan, keep up the great work. I highly commend both your organization and your product.

i purchased the pro22inch lcd at xmas for the kitchen and i'm very impressed with the picture quality , tease of the built-in dvd , amount of inputs , great remote and stylish looks, only critism is the baulky power supply . Its a shame about the newer pro22lcd looks (older one looks heaps better) , and and slighty higher cost (probaly the slighty higher resolution) otherwise i'd buy another for the bedroom.

I just received the PRO 22 and wall mounted in the dining room.
It is cristal clear and with all the available chanels.

Kogan are very good and efficient people to deal with and will do anything for there customers to please them.

Delivery was very quick and by the date they have promised.

This is the perfect small/medium sized LCD TV. I was drawn to its great features such as: the built in DVD player, support for DivX, Freeview channels and High Definition (1080p). The picture and sound (audio) quality is exceptional; (giving plasma TVs a run for their money.) All of this at a very affordable price - I think I scored a bargain!!!

I can't reccomend Kogan highly enough.
My TV wasnt working correctly when i set it up, the support team was fantastic, with great communication in reagrads to what the problem might be. It turned out I had to send the unit back, i packed it up & it was picked up from my work at 10.30AM on Friday - I had it back by 4.30PM that SAME day!
I set it up & its working perfectly.
I have never experienced service of such a high quality before.
The picture is fantaic, the sound is more than adequate for my needs & the DVD payer will play even the dogiest oldest DVD's that I have. It also appears to play internation DVD's without the need of that annoying region thing.

I would highly reccomend Kogan to anyone considering a new TV.

Recently purchased 22” Pro LCD. Unit arrived promptly and was as described. The set-up procedure was extremely simple and although the model I purchased was not full 1080, the picture quality was excellent.. Very happy with purchase.

I bought this model for our caravan 1 yr ago its great, perfect picture, and most times when travelling we dont have to raise the antenna, thats how good the built in digital tuner is, but remember DONT leave this Tv on an arm when travelling just put it in its box on the bed / vehicle and you Wont have any problems. I purchased Kogan TV 1080P-PRO22 with DVD player & extendable wall mount arm for my caravan. The TV picture is excellent, fully automatic wizard pickup all the available channels automatically. My TV antenna (Deluxe explorer C2) after connections to the unit was laid on the driveway, but TV picture at present time was brilliant. Thanks to team of the Kogan Company for an excellent TV. Great price, service and follows up by email messages from order to the door delivery. I can recommend Kogan TV units and products to every one.
