Eager to start watching your new Kogan High Definition LCD TV?

Please follow our start up instructions below and your TV will be ready to use in just a few simple steps.

16" LCD TVs

1. Connect the power cable to the power socket of the TV.
2. Connect the antenna cable to the ANTENNA IN connection of the TV.
3. Insert batteries in the remote control.
4. Press the power button on the remote control or on the top of the TV.
5. Select Auto Tuning from the Start Up window and press OK on the remote control
6. Select the Start button using the arrow buttons and press OK button on the remote.
7. It will automatically tune all the analogue and digital channels for you. Your TV is now ready for use.

If the start-up wizard doesn't come up and you see the message “NO SIGNAL”, please follow the steps below:

1. Press the SOURCE button on the remote and make sure that the TV is in DTV mode.
2. If the Start Up window still won’t come up, press the Menu button, scroll left or right until you get to the Channel menu, scroll down to the Auto Tuning option and press OK.
3. Select start from the pop up message and press OK.
4. It will automatically tune all the analogue and digital channels for you. Your TV is now ready for use.

19” – 40” LCD TVs

1. Connect the power adapter/power cord to the power socket of the TV.
2. Connect the antenna cable to the RF connection of the TV.
3. Insert batteries in the remote control.
4. On TVs 26” or larger, please turn on the master switch located under the right hand side speaker.
5. Press the power button on the remote control or on the side of the TV.
6. Follow the Start Up wizard and it will automatically tune all the available analogue and digital channels for you. At the completion of the tuning cycle your TV will be ready for use.

If the start-up wizard doesn't come up and you get the message "Please scan channels", follow the steps below:

1. Press the Source button on the remote and ensure you are in TV mode
2. Press the Menu button and scroll left or right to select the Channel menu
3. Select Auto Tuning from the menu and press the OK
4. Auto Scan will tune all the available channels for you and your TV will be ready to use.

42” LCD TV

1. Connect the power cable to the power socket of the TV.
2. Connect the antenna cable to the ANT or RF connection of the TV.
3. Insert batteries in the remote control.
4. Press the master on/off switch located at the back of the TV on the right hand bottom corner (separate from the standby power button).
5. Press the power button on the remote or on the side of the TV.
6. Press OK to start the setup wizard
7. Select your Region and press OK
8. Select the Scan option using the arrow keys and press the OK button on the remote control.
9. All digital and analogue stations will now be automatically tuned for you. At the completion of the tuning cycle your TV will be ready for use.

If the start-up wizard doesn't come up and you see the message “NO SIGNAL”, please follow the steps below:

1. Press the SOURCE button on the remote control and ensure that the TV is in DTV mode.
2. If the Start Up window still won’t come up, press the Menu button and scroll down to the TV icon and press OK.
3. Choose the correct region using the arrow buttons on the remote.
4. Select the Channels option and press OK
5. Select the Channel Scan option and press OK to start tuning.
6. All digital and analogue stations will now be automatically tuned for you. At the completion of the tuning cycle your TV will be ready for use.

Deluxe 42” LCD

1. Connect the power cable to the power socket of the TV.
2. Connect the antenna cable to the ANT connection of the TV.
3. Press the master on/off switch located at the back of the TV on the right hand bottom corner (separate from the standby power button).
4. Insert batteries in the remote control.
5. Press the power button on the remote or on the side of the TV.
6. Select Auto Tuning from the Start Up window and press OK
7. All digital and analogue stations will now be automatically tuned for you. At the completion of the tuning cycle your TV will be ready for use.

If the start-up wizard doesn't come up and you get a “NO SIGNAL" message, please follow the steps below:

1. Press the SOURCE button on the remote control and ensure that the TV is in DTV mode.
2. Press the Menu button, scroll across to the CHANNEL sub-menu and press OK.
3. Highlight the Auto Search option and press OK.
4. Ensure that the country is set correctly and Tune Type is ATV+DTV.
5. Select Start and press OK. All digital and analogue stations will now be automatically tuned for you. At the completion of the tuning cycle your TV will be ready for use.

Deluxe 42” LCD with SRS

1. Connect the power cable to the power socket of the TV.
2. Connect the antenna cable to the ANT connection of the TV.
3. Press the master on/off switch located at the back of the TV on the right hand bottom corner (separate from the standby power button).
4. Insert batteries in the remote control.
5. Press the power button on the remote or on the side of the TV.
6. Select Auto Tuning from the Start Up window and press OK
7. All digital and analogue stations will now be automatically tuned for you. At the completion of the tuning cycle your TV will be ready for use.

If the start-up wizard doesn't come up and you get a “NO SIGNAL" message, please follow the steps below:

1. Press the SOURCE button on the remote control and ensure that the TV is in DTV mode.
2. Press the Menu button, scroll across to the Tuning sub-menu and press OK.
3. Ensure that the country is set correctly.
4. Highlight the Auto Search option and press OK.
5. Select OK from the pop-up menu to confirm the auto scan.
6. All digital and analogue stations will now be automatically tuned for you. At the completion of the tuning cycle your TV will be ready for use.

19-32” LED TVs

1. Connect the power cord of the TV to the wall socket.
2. Connect the antenna cable to the RF connection of the TV.
3. Put the batteries in the remote control.
4. Turn on the master switch located on the bottom left corner of the TV when you facing the back of the TV.
5. Press the power button on the remote or on the touch panel of the TV.
6. Follow the start-up wizard and it will automatically tune all the available analogue and digital channels for you.

If the start-up wizard doesn't come up and you get the message "Please scan channels", follow the steps below:

1. Press the Menu button
2. Select Auto Scan from the CHANNEL menu.
3. Ensure that the Country selection is correct and Tune Type is ATV+DTV
4. Press OK to begin the Auto Tune. It will tune all the available channels for you and your TV will be ready to use.

42” - 55” LED TVs

1. Connect the power cord of the TV to the wall socket.
2. Connect the antenna cable to the ANT connection of the TV.
3. Put the batteries in the remote control.
4. Turn on the master switch located on the bottom left corner of the TV when you facing the back of the TV.
5. Press the power button on the remote or on the touch panel of the TV.
6. Follow the start-up wizard and it will automatically tune all the available analogue and digital channels for you.

If the start-up wizard doesn't come up and you get the message "Please scan channels", follow the steps below: 

1. Press the Menu button
2. Scroll down to select the CHANNEL menu.
3. Select Auto Search and press OK
4. Ensure that the Country selection is correct and Tune Type is ATV+DTV
5. Select Start and press OK
6. It will tune all the available channels for you and your TV will be ready to use.
