Frequently Asked Questions
Televisions
- Q: Does my TV with built-in PVR need to be on to record?
If the TV is turned off and a program is scheduled to be recorded, the TV will turn itself on to begin recording. The TV will need to be on during the entire recording process.
- Q: How do I access files on the USB device plugged into my TV?
To access your USB drive, you will need to change the source to Media, or press the Media button on the remote.
- Q: How do I change the picture and sound settings manually on the PRO32VDA?
To be able to manually change the settings, please change the PICTURE or SOUND mode to 'Personal'.
This will allow you to adjust the settings manually. - Q: How Do I connect my DVD Player/Foxtel/Other Device to the TV?
The exact method of connecting the Appliance will depend on the connections available and the TV you have. Where possible we recommend using HDMI to connect the Devices as this provides the best quality. Otherwise you will need to use a cable such as Component (Red, Green and Blue) and plug one end into the device and other into the TV.
If you used Component cables then you would have to press AV/TV and scroll to YPBPR. The same idea applies for all methods of connecting devices. - Q: How Do I eject a DVD from my LCD/DVD Combo?
Please make sure you are on DVD Mode and then press the eject button on your remote control. It is the button with a upward pointing triangle and a line under it. It is at the top of the remote.
