Listing Panel Types for Kogan TVs

Posted on .

At Kogan, we're constantly bringing you the best value LCD TVs, LED TVs, Blu-ray players, and other consumer electronic through our direct sales model and streamlined business. This was clear when we began selling Australia's cheapest Blu-ray integrated LCD TV last week, even undercutting a much smaller TV with fewer features sold at JB Hi-Fi. We even put out the challenge to all the traditional bricks and mortar retailers to try and beat us on the price of our 32" Blu-ray LCD TV. None of them have taken us up on this -- or even come close to our price.

Part of that process is choosing a panel manufacturer for each TV we sell in Australia. Although there are hundreds of TV brands in the world, just like Kogan, there are only a few LCD manufacturers. The LCD panel is a key component in an LCD or LED backlit TV -- and choosing the best value panel for the right price is something we work very hard on at Kogan.

Something we also take very seriously is listening to customer feedback. We're constantly being asked what panel is in certain TVs, so to make this easier for you we've begun including the panel manufacturer for our TVs in the specification and product pages -- whether it be LG, Samsung, AUO, or Sharp.

This is all part of our policy at providing an honest and transparent website where people can learn about technology and make informed purchases.

We'll also begin implementing Facebook and Twitter tools and buttons throughout our website to make it easier to talk to us about any of our products of services.

Are there any other changes you'd like to see on the Kogan website to make the online shopping experience easier, smoother, or more enjoyable for you?
