WELCOME ACA VIEWERS

If you've come here for the first time after tonight's segment on A Current Affair -- welcome!

You would have already learnt what the Kogan business model is about, and what we offer for Australian consumers.

Some of our biggest specials at the moment are:

The Blu-ray player is discounted from $349 down to $249. This makes a great addition to any HD television, allowing you to take full advantage of a Kogan TV's 1080p resolution. GoodGearGuide recently reviewed it, when it was $349, awarding it 4.5/5 stars

If you're looking for a smaller secondary set, or one that has integrated features (including USB for AVI video file playback, DVD, and HD digital tuners), the PRO16 ($299) and PRO19 ($399) are great value.

We've also slashed prices one our larger sets, the 42" 1080p set is now $1299 and the 47" 1080p is $1699.

Hi Andy,

The story should be on ACA tonight, Tuesday, at 6.30PM.

Thanks for tuning in!

Ruslan

G.Harvey says...

Good story ... though it was strange they were comparing you with an unheard of company, Tyagi, who has an Ebay rating of 261; in comparison with Kogan rating of over 9000!

Good luck with your business

andy says...

hi i watched the aca... how come the other brand was in your segment? who is he? does this mean more people coming on to selling tvs?

jesse says...

Hey kogan, I watched that aca show last night.. I love seeing that sort of stuff. Anyway I also want to know why he was in your show?

Now there are 3 brands.
You, tyagi and millennius.

Seems to me that you have been the successful 1 while the other 2 are trying to grow.

Its good that we can have 3 no name brands against the big brands which hopefully turns around to the small guys so you can offer us more products to choose from for a lot lesser value but almost same quality.. Which Is good.

Thanks

Kogan has my vote. Looking at buying a whole lot of goodies soon!

Tyagi does not interest me. The look of their website was an instant turn off.

Kogan has one of the cleanest, simplest and dynamic websites I have come across!

Keep it up :)

Groty says...

Ruslan,

I simply can not wait until you expand to the U.S.!!

Can you set up a mailing list for those of us waiting?

Thanks!

Ruslan,

You have my vote. Planning to buy the 42" LCD from the new lot very soon...

I too agree with James..Tyagi's website was an instant turn off.

Thanks..

BUYERS BEWARE!

Read about Kogan, checked out website, great prices, bought a PRO19, received Wed 18 Feb 09.
Turned it on, 1 STUCK PIXEL, bright green, top right quadrant, annoying as hell!
have tried software fix and still stuck.
checked 7 day money back guarantee and LCD warranty: need 2 STUCK PIXELS for replacement, within first 7 days!

Support emailed back saying same thing.

I'm still pushing for replacement as it was straight out of the box and bought without visual inspection (who can inspect anyway with online sale?)

BUYERS: BE PREPARED TO HAVE UP TO 2 STUCK PIXELS before any replacement.

In hindsight, I would have paid a bit more to buy from a store after testing onsite.

TechSolInt says...

Will you please describe your TV's in CENTIMETRES as well as inches. Very hard to decide when you only know metric sizes. Have requested this before but no result. Not buying until I know the diagonal screen size and external cabinet size, in centimetres, to know whether it will fit in my wall unit or alternatively, perhaps you could start selling tape measures which have both inches and centimetres on them! Can't buy one anywhere.

MotoMan says...

TechSolInt you must be kidding me.. ever heard of a tape measure? they have both inches and centimeteres on them... or how about typing 47inches = centimetres into google.. Seriously..

Ruslan Kogan says...

Kogan has a 2 stuck pixel and 0 dead pixel policy. Stuck pixels and dead pixels are very different. Stuck pixels can usually be fixed very easily through several simple ways. If you haven't had any luck please e-mail support@kogan.com.au so we can help you.

If you have a dead pixel, we are happy to replace the TV for you. Also, all our TVs are covered by a 7 day money back guarantee.

Carol B says...

Keno says...

Your association with that show (ACA) is a negative spot on an otherwise promising business.

cisco training says...
