The issue of receiving a physical warranty card with your products came up last week on the blog. Rob pointed it out first on the blog, and then on his own site. It really got me thinking about the paperless office.
The Kogan Technologies team have always tried to minimise the paper we use. First of all, we've found running a paperless office has reduced our operational costs, meaning we can sell LCD TVs, GPS units, and digital photo frames for even cheaper.
Secondly, it's a great way to help the environment. We're all wired to our computers pretty much all day, so why print things unnecessarily?

Philips recently announced they will be pulling the plug on their TV sales in Australia and New Zealand.
This follows on from Hitachi's exit earlier this year.
This shows just how cut-throat the retail market is for consumer electronics. By adding significant costs through middlemen, companies like Philips, Hitachi, and no doubt others down the track, are finding it very hard to remain competitive.

Up till now the Kogan integrated LCD TVs been limited to SD tuners. We've now released new models of the PRO 19 and PRO 22 which include high definition tuners built in to them.
I really believe these are the best fully featured integrated solutions available in Australia at the moment, at any price point.
