A lot has been written about how the global economic crisis will affect consumer spending. However, it seems electronics, gadgets, and technology are doing better than other sectors.
Canon recently released their annual Digital Lifestyle index which confirms this. What do you think, has the weak dollar, economic crisis, or anything else affected your purchasing habits for electronics?
Our business model helps Australians buy this sort of technology at affordable prices. Hopefully we're helping you make these decisions and ensuring they don't hurt the hip pocket much at all!

Hey I live in a small country town in north eastern victoria. I don't think this crisis is effecting the younger generation as much as what it is affecting the elderly, e.g pensioners and people who were looking to retire in the next few years.
Younger people seem to be buying electronics as much if not more now! Not sure why just something I have noticed. John

Well I am about to order in December, the Kogan camera and bluray player (to go with my Kogan 42" 1080p lcd). So I would like to know in the face of our weaker Australian dollar, how long will Kogan be able to maintain it's current prices ?
And can you advise Russ, when, and by approxemently how much, do you anticipate the coming price rise will affect your current prices.
Thanks, Bowiee

If it's as bad as the world economic leaders from the G20 meeting are predicting, than all sectors will eventually feel the downturn in the global climate. Its not over, it's just begun!
