Bricks and mortar retailers waking up to the internet
Posted on .It looks like nervous web-entrant Gerry Harvey is starting to catch on to the benefits of the internet.
He's obviously running into a few issues with the new site for Ofis, but it's an interesting shift.
He's not the only bricks and mortar business moving online, JB Hi Fi are doing the same.
Does anyone think these online stores will result in lower prices for consumers?
All the Gerry's of the world have to realise that it's not just about being online, it's about backing it up with better prices. Obviously selling online means lower overheads, it's part of why I'm able to pass the savings on to you. Don't be surprised if the online store and the retail shopfront have identical prices.
