Hi, my name’s Ruslan Kogan, I live in Melbourne, and I’m the founder of Kogan Technologies. For nearly two years my company has been bringing some great technology to Australian customers, and have just made our 50,000^th sale.
The essence of my company is that we get some of the latest technology straight from the manufacturer, direct to you, the Australian consumer. There are no middle men in my business model so we’re able to get the products to you much cheaper. The other benefit of this style of business is that we don’t have a long product development cycle, so when new technologies are made available, I can get them to you faster.

The most recent was the Kogan PRO LCD range, the first product in Australia to have built-in DivX and DVD playback, as well as a digital tuner.

One of the ways I do this is by travelling to the manufacturers in China on a regular basis. When I do this I’ll be blogging about any new products or technologies I see. If I get good feedback and a lot of you are interested, then I’m happy to develop it into a product, for sale on my online store.
